To Play
Use two cards of each picture.lace extra cards on the side.
1. Dealer shuffles cards, lays cards out face-down in rows, one at a time, no cards touching.
2. Player to dealer’s left selects any two cards and flips them over in place so players can see them. If the cards make a pair (two matching cards), he/she takes both cards and places them next to him/her in a pile face-down. The first player continues guessing until the two cards flipped don’t match. Turn the flipped cards back over so they are face-down again. It is the next player’s turn (player to the left of the first player).
3. Play continues until all the cards have been matched. Player with the most pairs in his/her pile wins.

The Object
Not to end up holding the odd king.
To Play
Remove one king.
1. Dealer shuffles cards and then deals out all of the cards, one at a time. Some players may have more cards than others.
2. Match numbers and face-cards and discard all pairs (2 cards of the rank. For example, two 8’s or two Queens) to a pile on the side. Do not discard three cards instead of two!
3. Players shuffle their remaining cards. Player on dealer’s left spreads his/her cards out like a fan and holds them out face-down. Dealer chooses one face-down card from the fan of cards. If the card picked matches a card he/she is already holding, the pair is discarded.
4. Play continues with players choosing one card from the player on their left. A player who has put down all of his/her cards waits while the others continue playing. The game ends when a player is left holding only king and loses the game!
RUMMY 500 (Rummy cha-MESH me-OT)
Two to eight players may play
The Object
To be the first player to put out all of your cards and to get the most
points.
To Play
1. Dealer shuffles cards, gives seven cards (ten cards if two players), one at a time, to each player, and then places remaining cards in the center face-down (draw pile) with one card face-up next to it (discard pile).
2. Arrange cards by grouping numbers, jacks, queens, kings, or suits.
3. Player to dealer’s left picks a card from either the draw pile or the discard pile. If the player now has...
• the same number
• a jack, queen, or king
• a run of numbers of the same suit (the 3-4-5 of candles, for example)
...the player places them next to him/her face-up (so the other players can see them) and then puts one of the cards he/she is holding next to the first card in the discard pile (face-up) so both cards in discard pile are visible.
4. Next player to the left
picks a card from either pile — any card can be picked up from
the discard pile and used on that turn, but all cards in the discard
pile must be picked up until the desired card. Player then puts down
all of his/her sets of cards.
Now players can also add to those cards put down by the first player.
Cards added to another player’s sets are placed in front of you
with your cards.
5. When no cards remain to draw, turn over the discard pile and continue playing until one player has put down all of his/her cards.
6. When one player goes out, the other players give all cards remaining in their hands to this player. Players count the values of their cards in this way:
8 of Candles = 15
1 to 10 = face value
Jack, Queen, King = 10
Record each player’s score. Play again. The first player to reach a total of 500 or more points wins!
WAR (Rebellion)

The Object
To get all 52 cards. Cards rank from high to low: K Q J 10 9 8 7 6 5

Ignore suits.
To Play
1. Dealer shuffles cards and then deals out all of
the cards, one at a time. Some players may have more cards than others.
2. At the same time, players turn over their top cards. Player with the higher card takes both and places them under his/her pile. If both cards are the same rank (two jacks, for example), there is a “rebellion.” Players call out, “Rebellion!”and place three cards in the center face-down and then one card face-up. The higher card takes all. If cards are the same rank, there is another “rebellion.” Repeat.
3. Player to get all 52 cards wins. For a faster game, the winner of three “rebellions” wins. If you run out of cards during a “rebellion,” you lose the game. If both players run out of cards at the same time, it’s a tie. If both players run out of cards during a “rebellion” but one player runs out of cards before the other, that player loses.
